7. Slight odors are possible at beginning of usage until device reaches its thermal stability.
8. Wash and dry thoroughly before rst use.
9. The temperature of accessible surface may be high when the appliance is operating.
10. If the device is not working as it should, has received a sharp blow, has been dropped, damaged,
left outdoors or dropped into water, do not use it.
11. This device should never be switched on or stay plugged in power supply when not in use, while
replacing accessories or during cleaning.
12. Do not attempt any modication or repair by yourself and ensure that any repair is conducted only
by appropriately qualied technician.
13. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced immediately by authorized and qualied person
only.
14. The use of attachments or accessories not recommended or sold by the product distributor may
cause personal or property hazards or injuries.
15. Do not wash the base in a dishwasher or immerse it in water or any other liquid.
16. Appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-
control system.
17. Regularly remove blockages caused by dust, food etc. because they greatly reduce device’s
suction power and/or general performance.
18. Although the product has been checked its usage and consequences are strictly user responsibility.

The Delimano Joy Food Dehydrator contains the following parts for following functions:

2) BEFORE FIRST USE
•
Before using the appliance for the rst time, peel o any promotional or packaging materials. Check that the accessories are complet and device is not damaged.
•
Place the device on hard, at, stable and dry surface.
•
Before using the appliance for the rst time, wipe all parts of the appliance. Clean all trays and cover with a lightly moistened cloth. Use dishwashing detergent only if needed.
•
Stack the trays and plug the device to power supply.
•
NOTE: The total height of dehydrator can vary between 270 mm to 210 mm depending if the trays are stacked with their aps aligned (higher 26 mm) or not (lower 13mm).
•
After cleaning, the unit must operate for 10 minutes on highest temperature/level. Do not place any food in the dehydrator during this period.
NOTE: Any smoke or smells produced during this procedure are normal. Please ensure sucient ventilation.
3) USAGE
•
Put clean food onto the trays. Do not overload the trays and make sure that pieces of food do not overlap. Close the cover.
Note: Always start loading the food from the bottom tray to the top tray. It is recommended to stack at least 3 trays, whether there is food on them or not.
•
Check that control knob is in OFF position. Plug the dehydrator into a power supply.
•
Rotateon the control knob in + (left) direction, on ON position. Fan will start working and blue light on right side of control button will light up. Stop rotating when temperature/level is
according to the recommended setting in the table.*
•
When setting surpases the current temperature within dehydrator heasting will start and heating light will turn on.
•
After the drying temperature is set, the system automatically conrms operation with the current temperature setup.
•
Check the appliance every hour. Once food is dry enough rotate control button to OFF positon.

Herbs, leafy vegetables, owers 1 30-40°C
Fruit, vegetables, muesli bars, fruit rolls 2 – 3 40-60°C
Meat, sh 4 60-70°C
NOTE: Settings may vary depending of food type, thickness, moisture, quantity, its position and personal preferences. Monitor closely and adjust if needed until you get the wanted
results and experience.
Note: Set low temperature for thin/small pieces of food or for a small load of food. Set high temperature for drying thick/big pieces of food and large loads.
4) CLEANING
•
Always unplug the dehydrator from the power supply and let it cool down before cleaning.
•
Clean with a soft cloth or brush in warm and abluent water, but do not wash it with abrasive.
•
Clean the surface of body with damp cloth.
•
Dry all parts with a dry cloth before storing the dehydrator.
