7. Do not let the cord hang over edge of table or any hot surface.
8. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
9. Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use.
10. The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause re,
electric shock or injury.
11. Avoid contact with moving parts. Keep hands, hair, clothing, spatulas and other utensils away
during operation to reduce the risk of injury to persons and/or damage to the machine.
12. This device is intended for indoor and household use only.
13. Please wash thoroughly before rst use. Always make sure everything is thoroughly clean
before making ice cream or sorbet.
14. Never freeze ice cream that has been fully or partially defrosted.
15. Any ice cream or sorbet containing raw ingredients should be consumed within one week. Ice
cream tastes best when fresh.
16. Ice cream or sorbet that contains raw or partially cooked eggs should not be given to young
children, pregnant women, the elderly or people who are generally unwell.Before use, place
the product on hard, at, stable and dry surface.
17. To prevent freezer burn, always ensure that hands are protected when handling the bowl,
especially when rst removed from the freezer.
18. If the freezing solution appears to be leaking from the bowl, discontinue use. The freezing
solution is non toxic.
19. Switch o the appliance and disconnect from supply before changing accessories or
approaching parts that move in use.
20. Do not attempt any modication or repair by yourself and ensure that any repair is conducted
only by appropriately qualied technician.
21. Although the device has been checked its usage and consequences are strictly user
responsibility.
1) Parts
The Delimano Joy Ice Cream Maker contains the following parts for following functions:

2) Before rst use
•
Remove all of the packaging.
•
Wash the parts: see “cleaning”.
•
Before using, place the freezer bowl into plastic bag before putting it into freezer for 8-12 hours.
•
Prepare the ice cream or sorbet mix. Allow the mix to cool in the refrigerator.
3) Usage
Step 1: Insert the power unit (1) into the lid (2) and press to lock it into position (“click” sound) (see: PICTURES, Pic. 2).
Step 2: Join the drive shaft (3) and paddle (4) before inserting them to the power unit (see: PICTURES, Pic. 3).
Step 3: Take out the freezer bowl (5) from the freezer.
Step 4: Lower the whole assembly onto the freezer bowl align the lid pins with freezer bowl gaps and turn clockwise to lock into position (see: PICTURES, Pic. 4).
Step 5: You can now switch on the ice cream maker by pressing power button (see: PICTURES, Pic. 5).
NOTE: THE MACHINE MUST BE SWITCHED ON BEFORE ADDING THE ICE CREAM OR SORBET RECIPE TO PREVENT THE MIX FROM IMMEDIATELY FREEZING ON THE INSIDE OF THE
BOWL.
Step 6: Use the chute and pour the ice cream or sorbet mix into the freezer bowl.
•
When pouring mixture into the bowl, always stop at least 4 cm from its top, as the mixture will increase in volume during freezing.
Step 7: Allow the mixture to mix until frozen or the desired consistency is reached. This can take from 15 to 30 minutes, but usually it takes less time.
Important
- Do not insert any utensils or any other objects through the lid while the device is in use. This could cause paddle to stop and hurt the machine or the user.

Do not stop and start the machine during the freezing process, as the mixture may freeze in contact with the bowl and prevent movement of the paddle.
•
To avoid overheating the motor, the direction of rotation will change if the mixture becomes too thick. If the direction of rotation continues to change, stop the machine - the
mixture should be ready.
• Step 8: Turn o by pressing power button and remove the lid assembly. The ice cream is ready to serve.

The ice cream produced should be a soft spoonable type. This can be transferred to a separate container for storage in the freezer or if you wish to rm the ice cream before
