USING THE HOB

Note: Before activating any functions, the desired zone

must be enabled

● Power-on

Briefly press (touch) ON/OFF (1) hob: the symbol

lights up; If you continue to press: all the available

functions will become visible for a few seconds, after which

only the main ones will remain active; the other ones can

be used, and will be activated, later, while using the device.

IMPORTANT: all the available functions will be

illuminated with light intensity, which will become

more intense only when they are activated.

Press again to turn off

Note: This function has priority over the others.

● Selecting the cooking zones

Touch the Selection bar (6) corresponding to the desired

cooking zone EL; CL; CR; ER;

● 9 Power Levels

The hob features 9 power levels. Slide your fingers along

the Selection bar (6):

to the right to increase the power level;

to the left to decrease the power level.

● Power Booster

The product features a supplementary power level (after

level ), which remains active for 10 minutes, after which

the temperature returns to the previously set value.

Touch and slide your fingers along the Selection bar (6)

(beyond level ) and activate the Power Booster

The Power Booster level is shown on the display of the

selected zone with the symbol

● Bridge Zones

This function allows the EL cooking zone to work in

combination with the CL cooking zone and the CR cooking

zone with the ER cooking zone, creating a single zone with

the same power level (2 in total). This will allow evenly

distributed cooking with large-sized pots and pans.

To activate the Bridge Function:

• simultaneously press the Selection zone (6) of the

chosen zones.

• the bridge indicator (10) of the selected cooking zones

will light up. The symbol will appear in the display of the

CL zone for the pair (EL+CL) or ER for the pair (CR + ER)

• it will now be possible to set the power by sliding your

finger over the Selection zone (6) EL for the pair (EL+CL)

or the Selection zone (6) CR for the pair (CR + ER).

To deactivate the Bridge Function:

• simultaneously press the two Selection zones (6) of the

pair to be deactivated.

● Temperature Manager

Temperature Manager is a function that allows you to set

the most suitable pre-set temperature to achieve the

desired result.

To activate the Function:

• Select the desired cooking zone.

• Press Selection zone (5) once or multiple times to select

the most suitable level among those available:

One press activates the “Melting” level:

(7) Identifies a suitable power level to slowly melt

delicate products without compromising their sensory

characteristics (chocolate, butter, etc.).

Second press for “Warming” level:

(7) Identifies a suitable power level to allow the food

to be delicately maintained at the same temperature,

without letting it boil.

Third press for “Simmer” level:

(7) Identifies a suitable power level to simmer food

for prolonged periods. Suitable to cook tomato sauces,

meat sauces, soups, minestrone, maintaining a controlled

cooking level (ideal for bain-marie). It prevents the food

from spilling or sticking at the bottom of the pan, typical of

these preparations. Use this function after bringing the food

to a boil.

• Press again to turn it off.

The display of the zone working in Temperature Manager

mode shows the following symbol .

● Timer

The Timer function is a countdown that can be set, even

simultaneously, on each cooking zone.

At the end of the period set, the cooking zones switch off

automatically and the user is notified with a dedicated

acoustic signal.

Activating/Regulating the hob Timer function:

• Select the cooking zone (Power other than 0)

• Simultaneously press (4a) and (4b) to access the

Timer function

• Set the duration of the Timer:

press the selector (4b), to increase the automatic

switch-off time

press the selector (4a), to decrease the automatic

switch-off time

If desired, repeat the operation for the other cooking zones.

Note: Each cooking zone can have a different Timer set;

on the display (13), the countdown of the last

selected cooking zone will be shown for 10 seconds, after


